April 12, 2022

By far the best weather night at the track this year conducive to singlets and maybe shirtless (certainly Sam D). There was another memorable Boston send-off (see photo) for our 17 FMTC runners who will be heading up to Beantown Monday for the first “real” BAA Marathon since 2019. THANKS to Tracy who did much of the prep work and Sarah, Dan, and Jay who did a great job in my absence. There were 23/24 Sam Adams Boston Lagers accounted for (I have Jay Glick’s at home) and all PBRs were consumed based on the two empty coolers brought back in the Volvo by Dan. I also found today there personalized Boston 26.2  empties that were returned (Newcomer, Hodge (drank it?), and Brenner – let me know if you want them, otherwise they will  be sold on Ebay or put in the recycling.

Lots of good work on the track including the Furman 800/1600/400 workout and some other fast 200/400s. My apologies for those of you who I may have missed –  but included those who I saw briefly at 5:30 and off STRAVA.
