F and M Track Club is the largest competitive running club based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. People of all ages and abilities levels are welcome given you have a love for running, the work ethic to improve, and a friendly personality.
Our club seeks to practice and promote the social benefits of running and training to support one another, reach our running goals, develop meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact in the greater community.
We meet Tuesdays at the Franklin & Marshall College outdoor track at 6:00 pm for group track workouts. Club President, Jeff Kirchner, shares workout options ahead of time (typically Monday afternoons) via email. Participants are expected to complete a warm-up routine and be ready to start the workout promptly at 6:00 pm. Group cool down, club announcements, and general socializing follow the workouts. We also organize casual Saturday morning runs, starting from the F&M outdoor track at 7:00 am.
Members are encouraged to train year-round and to compete on road, track, and/or trail—focusing primarily on distances from 1 mile to the marathon (and beyond).
We typically compete in the Mid-Atlantic region, though our members have been seen all around the world donning our signature blue and red singlets.
