A casual group of serious runners.
The F and M Track Club is offering OPTIONAL club running events aligned with our previous weekly schedule, effective July 28th:
-6PM workout at Baker Field/Clayton Rd. Loop
Saturday AM group runs
-7AM meet up at the F&M Track parking lot
Please be aware that the club has developed the following guidelines
to assist with gathering and operating safely during these times.
Additionally, these extra guidelines will be in place until further notice:
-Pacing groups must consist of 6 or less people; please consider smaller sizes whenever possible.
-Post-running hangouts will occur away from the main entrance to the track. Jeff’s Volvo will make a return to the regular lot, where our group can congregate away from other people going on and off the track.
Please know there is no pressure or penalty for choosing the stay home or running at alternative venues until you’re comfortable returning. We want everyone to feel safe and make the right decisions for them. In support of this, other local public access tracks include:
As always, non-F&M track workout check-ins are appreciated so your efforts can be accounted for in the club log.
Other running events, time trials, etc. that have been postponed earlier this year will be subject to future replanning and rescheduling. Stay well, everyone—and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
The F&M Track Club Board
F and M Track Club meets each Tuesday at the Franklin & Marshall College track at 6 pm. Anywhere from 10-40 runners turn out for a weekly workout with friends. Club organizer, Jeff Kirchner, shares the workout on Monday afternoons. Participants are expected to be at the track and ready to start the workout at 6 pm.
The Club also organizes Saturday morning runs, starting at the F&M track at 7:30 am.
Club runners can be easily spotted at local races, and around the world, in our signature blue and white singlets donning our club name.
