April 5, 2022

It was a  dark and stormy night — actually just a bit cold, then a rainy night at the F and M Track although a few of us started the workout day in the morning – which was highlighted by Walter cutting down his Boston 6 x 1-mile repeats to a blistering 6:18 pace (AG 4:52 !). 10 – 400s were run very strongly by Will Charles who is back after 2 months at altitude.

Group 2 / Boston runners were doing the same on the Clayton loop while many at the track were
doing the 400m repeats. Sam was prepping for a fast mile this Saturday in Wilmington (hope Nick will join him).

FMTC singlets were presented to new club members Katie Miller and Tim Norman.

About 20 PBRs consumed along with some good conversation until the cold rain drove us home or to the Fridge.

Hopefully, a few of you made it to the Y at 6 AM today for Justin and Evan’s strength class. There will be a club board meeting on the 27th so if you have any burning issues/ideas please communicate these to Sarah, Jeremy, Jay, Drew, or myself.

Next week will be the annual “Boston send-off” – BAA marathon garb for the track workout is requested. Boston beers will be provided (no PBR’s – sorry Denise).
