The Red Rose is upon us. For our club, I believe this to be the marquee local event, and based on last night many of our runners are ready for the challenge. At least 15 runners took to the course for some recon. I can confirm the hills are still there, but pleasantly the road through the park was dry and moss free. Adjust the pace accordingly. Will club members win the overall titles? Age group winners? Will there be any new members to the over 50 under 30 club besides Stoudt and Garland? Lastly, there was a solid group post-run at Tellus enjoying refreshments (Thanks Bill), conversation, and the warm temps. Looking forward to Saturday!

The 47th RED ROSE is Saturday at 8 AM. We have a good crew of volunteers including Peter, Glenn, and Mark Seigford at the mile marks to cheer you on. The course is now USATF certified. Sign-up thus far has not been good as expected so consider racing if you have not signed up or at least come down, wear your FMTC gear and support your teammates.
Thanks,
-Jeff
