After our virtual version in 2020, we were especially appreciative to bring back a live event for our 14th annual Holiday WOW.
BIG Thanks to Sarah and Georganne who stepped up this year to with planning/food preparation etc. We had lots of good fun, deserts, etc and of course some REAL beers, PBRs, and other liquid refreshments. Club members received another spectacular annual club gift from Tracy and I and another Dever Christmas ornament as well. Attendance was estimated at 70+.
A quick shot out to 9 of my FMTC teammates with whom I made the Trek down to Tallahassee, Florida this past week and competed in the very competitive USATF Club XC Championships. Great fun on a beautiful, rolling course that included 3 trips up the “Wall”…. and it was also hot and humid for us Brian. Although we all put forth our best efforts despite injuries and recovery challenges, Tim, Phil, and Walter (Silver medal 65-59 AG) had the strongest individual performances.
