Balmy temperatures (singlet-worthy) ~ 70* and little wind made for a nice evening on the Champs Elysees “track” last evening with most of us doing the rather grueling 10 x 400m – H / 400m – R workout. The course was wheeled (twice) and is close to an honest 1/2 mile loop that we can get off of the track. A few PBRs pleasingly consumed after the hot/hard miles – with some amicable bipartisan political discussions as well. Starting this week I am again encouraging “check-ins” as I realize the pandemic continues to present many life, work, school, family, and personal challenges for everyone. TWO Club Holiday events are in the planning stages for December.
AT THE “TRACK”: Arndt, Charles, Kirchner, Newcomer W, Petraco, Gatchell, Matula, Roth, Hodge, Nephin, Oles, Lavin, Glick, Wege, Garland, Stoltzfus, McMillan J + 1, Alter, Brenner (back!), Zook
CHECK-INS: Barber (Clayton), Lachman (NJ) Cubbison, Kleinhaus (Cty Park), Zielinksi (Phila.), McMillan D., Welsh
